Job Description
Overview:
This position will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and instruction of all intelligence support systems, in current use and future development, to include, but not limited to CIDNE and COIC servers and associated workstations and peripherals. This position is located within the MCTOG Communications Division, so in addition to having specific responsibility for Intel Support systems, possess a working knowledge of all pertinent automated C2 and information systems, also by able to perform installation, maintenance, and instruction on specific C2 and information systems in order to support the overall objectives of
the Division.
Responsibilities:
• Install, operate, and maintain MarineLink, FalconView, Analysts Notebook,C2PC,DII Apps Family
Suite, IOWV2 Computer system (tactical and Standard), IOSV3 Intel (Windows Server), IOSV2A Intel
(Unix server), TEG,ARC GiS, BAT, MIDB, C2 System Injectors, Unix (Solaris), and Windows NT/2000/XP.
• Install, operate, and maintain Joint systems of record CPOF, ASAS, BAT, TIGR, CIDNE, DCGS-A (DIB),
Ripple, COIC.
• Perform System Administrator duties to include database and system security management.
• Develop networks for future exercises.
• Provide event support.
• Provide technical advice to Information Management Officers.
• Recommend system upgrades and changes.
• Periodically travel to conferences and/or systems courses.
• Provide on-site technical assistance.
• Instruct on C2 Systems interoperability with respect to each system.
• Network and integrate Intel systems with other program of record and experimental
application/systems.
• Assist in exercise product development utilizing Intel data systems.
• Build current Intel data bases and repositories.
• Perform as an Intel systems operator ISO exercises.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of C2 and information systems to include formal military instruction.
Minimum three years experience with operation, system administration, and military training and education.
Knowledge of military operations and organizations to include the intelligence cycle and process, military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships.
Effective oral and written communications skills. Ability to research complex issues and develop comprehensive reports.
Direct participation in real world operations is desired in deployment and employment C4ISR methods and systems for ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and combat service support units.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
