Description
The candidate will serve as a Help Desk Technician/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) facilities operator for the Global Cyber Integration Center.  Responsibilities will include coordination, scheduling, and managing VTC sessions and sessions provided through the host base or vendor provided sessions, system and desktop administration; assist in developing policy and procedures, perform data migration and recovery, and perform as alternate Information Assurance Officer. The candidate will install, configure, and maintain the AF Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) software. Create and maintain Active Directory (AD) accounts and group. Individual will be responsible for minor printer maintenance. The candidate will also conduct research and analyses, and perform inventory control of ADPE. Further, it requires the individual to research, operate, and perform minor, first-echelon troubleshooting and upgrades on GFE software graphics tools, software packages, multimedia personal computer hardware, and Picture-Tel video-teleconferencing/presentations hardware.


Requirements
Analyze GCIC media presentation requirements and recommend upgrades and maintain GCIC facility as needed
Assist in development/documentation of procedures on shared information systems and data.
Provide system administration and Workgroup Manager support
Provide technical assistance to upgrade workstations remotely
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PMI) on storage systems
Use Symantec Ghost to image and deploy systems as well as Microsoft User Migration Tool
Perform as alternate Information Assurance Officer
Perform minor printer, FAX, and copier maintenance
Maintain the AF Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) software components
Maintain software patches and update/troubleshoot Symantec Anti-Virus data files
Maintain patches on SDC hardware using System Center Configuration Manager
Use Active Directory (AD) to create and maintain AD accounts and groups
Responsible for ADPE inventory

Essential Skills and Experience:


Experience with Active Directory, Symantec Ghost and Microsoft User Migration Tool
Shall be proficient in data migration and data recovery
Shall be proficient with equipment, scheduling, etiquette, COMSEC, and troubleshooting the Multipoint Control Units
Possess familiarity with Defense Connect Online (DCO) operations, set-up and basic troubleshooting
Requires at least 3 years experience with formal training in Desktop Administration or a degree in a related field of study
Requires at least 3 years experience with formal training in VTC management and administration
Provide support to an office of 350+ computers
Maintain an A+ certification or equivalent certification
Bachelors degree
Requires a TS/SCI security clearance
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen
